VALLEJO, CA [June 27, 2025] – The Filipino Community of Solano County, Inc. (FCSCI) proudly announced and celebrated the achievements of three outstanding graduating high school seniors from Vallejo who were selected as recipients of its annual FCSCI Scholarship Award. The students were honored during a special awards ceremony held on Friday, June 27, 2025, at the Filipino Community Center in Vallejo.
Now in its continued tradition of community support, the FCSCI scholarship program recognized students who demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, community involvement, and a strong commitment to furthering their education through college or vocational training.
“For many years, FCSCI has championed the educational dreams of local youth,” said an FCSCI board member. “This year’s recipients truly embodied the values of hard work, perseverance, and service that we hope to encourage throughout our community.”
The event, which took place at 611 Amador Street, brought together awardees, their families, and members of the Filipino community in Solano County to celebrate the students’ accomplishments. Attendees heard remarks from community leaders, FCSCI board members, and past scholarship recipients who shared words of encouragement and inspiration.
The scholarship awards ceremony reflected FCSCI’s continued commitment to investing in future leaders and empowering Filipino-American youth through meaningful support, mentorship, and cultural pride.
