New Community Resource Hub Empowers Filipino Families in Solano County

VALLEJO, CA [August 17, 2025] The Filipino Community of Solano County, Inc. (FCSCI) has launched a new comprehensive Community Resource Hub designed to connect local residents with vital services across family support, education, employment, health, and crisis care.

The newly unveiled online resource center is a one-stop platform for residents seeking help in areas such as food and housing assistance, legal and immigration services, job training, and mental health care, with a special focus on culturally responsive services for the Filipino-American community.

“Our goal is to ensure no family feels alone or without access to help,” said an FCSCI representative. “This hub makes it easier for families to find the support they need—from faith-based connections and scholarships to free groceries and senior care.”

The portal organizes services into three main categories:

  • Family & Community Resources – featuring groups like Fighting Back Partnership, Meals on Wheels, and Faith Food Fridays, this section supports families through housing help, food security, and volunteer opportunities.

  • Education, Employment & Youth Empowerment – organizations like Solano Youth Employment, Vallejo Adult School, and JumpStart provide career readiness, college prep, and financial coaching for adults and youth.

  • Health, Wellness & Crisis Resources – with services such as mental health counseling in Tagalog, low-cost clinics, and crisis hotlines, this section includes trusted providers like Solano County Behavioral Health, Covered California, and Seneca Family of Agencies.

All services are hyper-local and tailored to meet the unique needs of Solano County residents, particularly Filipino and immigrant families seeking culturally competent care and guidance.
